Blocks for leaf/stem/blossom & gold halo/stars (ABOVE)

Blocks for rose glow & blue backdrop (BELOW)

Hand-drawing color blocks (BELOW, LEFT).

This block, the 1st created for the “GLOWING ROSE” woodcut, hosts line detail.

Final result of all the planning, drawing & carving—5 woodcocks to create the “GLOWING ROSE” woodcut.

Each block will be inked with a different color. The blocks are printed separately but build together on paper to create the final image.
